  Safety Best Practices
Safety Best Practices are considered minimum personal protective equipment requirements. The below Safety Best Practices will be enforced at all Jebro locations and to all Jebro employees, subcontractors, suppliers, leased operators and visitors.
 
Safety Best Practices do not apply to employee and truck parking lot areas, office and building areas, walking to and from vehicles into office and building areas, and autos or trucks or construction equipment with enclosed cabs.
 
Safety Best Practices include:
Company issued or approved hard hat;
Hearing protection, where posted;
Long-sleeved shirts when handling hot material. Shorts and sweatpants are not allowed;
Safety glasses or other appropriate eye and face protection equipment;
Safety gloves (heat and chemical resistant), where warranted;
Sturdy leather boots that come above the ankle;
Seat belts shall be properly worn by the operator and all passengers in company vehicles and equipment;
All vehicles and equipment shall be operated with lights on, night and day; and
Personal cell phones use while on the job is restricted to breaks and meal periods. The use of company owned/issued cell phones shall be limited to the minimum required to conduct necessary business.
 
Employees, subcontractors and equipment representatives performing work in the Quality Control Laboratory are to wear the following personal protective equipment:
Appropriate eye and face protection (safety glasses, chemical goggles or face shield);
Lab coat or apron; and
